Yknow, I never saw anything of Hajime no Ippo before this, but I have to say... I'm thoroughly impressed. The way everything is animated, ESPECIALLY the impact from all the blows, is awesome as hell. I really want to watch the whole thing now, that fight blew me away

This is the newest season, but the older seasons are still pretty well done. They just look a bit dated in the beginning but trust me the quality is just as good. just not as shiny

don't make the same mistake target did though, DONT start on Hajime no ippo: A New challenger. That's the newest season.

u know wat i like about ippo tho, is that they have just about every other races too , white, black, hispanic, asian, etc... i kinda wish that they made those characters speak they're native languages, rather than all speaking japanese. i always thought that wouldve been cool

Yeah, but then EVERYONE would have to read subtitles.

Come to think of it... that would show those native japanese anime fans who can speak it and watch it without subtitles. Now the whole SHOW will be subtitled for everyone! LETS SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT!

By the way, whats your opinion of the english dubbed Fighting Spirit?

never knew there WAS an english one...but honestly i wouldn't recommend it, because there's a lot of humorous Kanji and Katakana references and such that wouldn't make sense in english


and it has some pretty wild mouth movements that i just cant imagine english voice actors doing it just as funny....they just wouldnt do it any justice

Well, not to dissapoint, but I found someone on youtube who uploaded all the english episodes, and the quality on youtube is normally such that subtitles can be hard to read so... I'm going for it

Actually, I'm already on episode 5. I'm really enjoying it so far. The voices aren't too bad once you get used to it.

EDIT: On episode 30...so good... can't stop watching.

Knuckleduster - Animatic.
Some one actually made a storyboard for a short cartoon that would be based around/set to Knuckleduster from Project Chaos. It's too awesome to a Sonic fan not to show.

Though one scene is really corny, the artwork even at this level shows a love and understanding for the characters.
